Prologue

I know what you are. If you don’t want that secret to find its way in the hands of the Soul Stealers, you will follow the instructions in this letter exactly as they are laid out. Here is what you will do:

In exactly seven days, you will travel to the industrial district, just west of downtown. We will meet at an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the district at exactly 9 PM. Driving and walking directions are enclosed in this letter. You will come alone, and you will not tell anyone where you are going. You will check every two minutes to see if you are being followed. When you arrive, you will wait for me in silence. Fail to do any of this and you will find the Soul Stealers at your house the following morning.

I know this letter reads as a threat, but I am not aligned with the Soul Stealers in any capacity. I do not want your money or valuables, nor do I have any reason to wish you dead. I am simply in need of your… abilities. In the end, whether you follow these instructions is up to you.
